A poem I wrote to address the issue of our minds holding us as prisoners to mistakes, regrets, guilt, lies and shame. We all wrestle with them. In the past. Right now. And we will all likely face them in the future. We must renew our minds (aka “burn the box”) and keep our focus on Jesus. This poem was written for my students at M2L Students (More 2 Life Ministries) where I currently serve as the Youth Pastor.
